We performed Master and Margarita in Tallinn last December in Kanuti Gildi Saal, at PÖFF (Black Nights Film Festival): http://www.saal.ee/event/134/
It was a special event for us for many reasons: Nuno has been living in Tallinn for a while (and it was his birthday); André spends quite a lot of time there; we are big fans of Kanuti Gildi Saal, the team and the atmosphere there; PÖFF is probably the best festival in Estonia; the idea to adapt the novel first came from trips to this former Soviet country.
The performance went very well in our opinion. The characteristics of the Kanuti Gildi Saal main room, with its huge projection area and historical atmosphere, made it perfect for the event. The (large) audience, composed of people familiar to the book, was warm and enthusiastic.
